WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Pathiraja Gunatillake, Ph.D., Chief Research Scientist and Research Group Leader, CSIRO Materials Science, Biomedical Materials and Manufacturing, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Gunatillake was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows In recognition of his contributions over the years to the field of biomaterials in general and polyurethanes in particular.
