WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Paula Bickford, Ph.D., Senior Research Career Scientist, James A Haley VA Hospital Distinguished USF Health Professor, Neursorugery and Brain Repair, University of South Florida, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Bickford was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For distinguished contributions in aging research, particularly as a leader in nutritional neuroscience and innate immune mechanisms in neurodegenerative diseases..
