WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Lee Makowski, Ph.D., Professor and Chair, Department of Bioengineering, Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Northeastern University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Makowski was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for seminal contributions to istructural biology imaging and for establishing a leading academic Bioengineering Department as its inaugural Chair.
