WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Harcharan Singh Ranu, Ph.D., Professor/President, , American Orthopaedic Biomechanics Research Institute, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Ranu was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For pioneering contributions in the development of innovative technologies, i.e., laserectomy for herniated spinal disc, fostering international academics, education, biomaterials and product liability of medical devices and orthopedic implants..
