WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Steven Salzberg, Ph.D., Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, and Biostatistics, Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Salzberg was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For outstanding contributions to computational genomics, including pioneering methods for gene finding, whole-genome assembly, and analysis of next-generation sequencing data..
