Brian D. Schmit, Ph.D.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Brian D. Schmit, Ph.D., Professor of Biomedical Engineering; Co-Director Stroke Rehabilitation Center; Associate Dean for Research, OPUS College of Engineering, Marquette; Director, Integrative Neural Engineering and Rehabilitation Laboratories, Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering, Marquette University and Medical College of Wisconsin, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Schmit was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for exemplary leadership in Biomedical Engineering through contributions to spinal cord injury and stroke rehabilitation research, education and service.
