WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Mary C. Farach-Carson, Ph.D., Professor of Diagnostic and Biomedical Sciences Director of Clinical/Translational Research, School of Dentistry, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Farach-Carson was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for building complex 3D systems simulating normal and cancerous microtissues, promoting inclusive, interdisciplinary research, and delivering discovery to the clinic.
