  • AIMBE Public Policy Webinar: Navigating Change
    June 17, 2025  2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

    Dear AIMBE community:

This is indeed a confusing and challenging time for the scientific community. With so many changes happening, AIMBE is closely monitoring the situation and actively formulating a plan for increased advocacy. We are balancing the need to act swiftly with the importance of not acting prematurely, ensuring our efforts are thoughtful and impactful.

To keep our community informed and engaged, I am pleased to invite you to an exclusive AIMBE Policy Webinar on Tuesday, June 17, at 2:00 PM EST.

AIMBE President Lola Eniola-Adefeso will open the session with remarks on the current challenges and opportunities, followed by AIMBE Executive Director, Dr. Dawn Beraud, who will provide:

    • An overview of the current science policy landscape
    • Insights into the 2025 policy outlook following the recent administration transition
    • Details on AIMBE’s advocacy strategy to advance medical and biological engineering

Please note: This is a closed-door session for the AIMBE community only and will not be recorded.

This is a critical opportunity to stay informed and contribute to AIMBE’s mission of advancing biomedical engineering for the benefit of society.

Thank you for your continued dedication and support. I look forward to seeing you at the webinar as we navigate this uncertain time together.
