WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Daniel A. Beard, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology/Carl J. Wiggers Collegiate Professor of Cardiovascular Physiology, University of Michigan, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Beard was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For world leading work on modelling mammalian metabolism and leading contributions to the international physiome project.
