WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of May Dongmei Wang, Ph.D., Director of Biomedical Big Data Initiative, GCC Distinguished Cancer Scholar, Kavli Fellow, Petit Institute Faculty Fellow, Professor, Departments of Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering, IBB, IPaT, Winship Cancer Institute, Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Wang was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For outstanding contributions in biomedical and health informatics for personalized and predictive health and for providing technical leadership.
