Rebecca Kuntz Willits, Ph.D.

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Rebecca Kuntz Willits, Ph.D., Margaret F. Donovan Endowed Chair for Women in Engineering Professor of Biomedical Engineering Associate Chair for Graduate Studies, Biomedical Engineering, University of Akron, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Willits was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For outstanding contributions to three dimensional neural tissue engineering models, undergraduate and graduate curricular development, and undergraduate research mentoring.
