Alison L. Marsden, Ph.D.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Alison L. Marsden, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Bioengineering, and by courtesy of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Pediatrics (Cardiology) and Bioengineering Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering, Stanford University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Marsden was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for fundamental contributions to cardiovascular simulation methodology, clinical translation of novel surgical designs, leadership in open-source software and gender diversity.
