WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Kannan Rangaramanujam, Ph.D., Arnall Patz Distinguished Professor of Ophthalmology; Co-director, Center for Nanomedicine; Professor, Joint Appointment, Materials Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Rangaramanujam was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for outstanding contributions towards development/translation of novel, glia-targeted nanotherapies for brain/retinal disorders, from neonatal brain injury and macular degeneration.
