WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Carl G. Simon, Jr., Ph.D., Project Leader, Biosystems & Biomaterials Division, National Institute of Standards and Technology, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Simon was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for outstanding contributions in areas of standards for tissue-engineered products, cell-biomaterials interactions and tissue engineering scaffolds.
