WASHINGTON, D.C. — The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the election of Wilbur A. Lam, MD, Ph.D., Professor, Pediatrics and Biomedical Engineering, Emory University/GeorgiaTech to its College of Fellows. Dr. Lam was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the AIMBE College of Fellows for outstanding contributions to the development and clinical translation of microfluidic and biomechanical systems, especially in hematology and point-of-care diagnostics.

The College of Fellows is comprised of the top two percent of medical and biological engineers in the country.
