WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Cory J. Berkland, Ph.D., Solon E. Summerfield Distinguished Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, The University of Kansas, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Berkland was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For founding multiple successful biotech companies, translating colloidal and polymeric materials applied to regenerative medicine, and controlled release drug delivery.
