WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Jürgen Popp, Ph.D., Chair for Physical Chemistry, Institute of Physical Chemistry Friedrich-Schiller University Jena and Scientific Director of the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology, Physical Chemistry, Institute of Physical Chemistry Friedrich-Schiller University Jena and Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Popp was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For outstanding contributions to the development of Raman-based technologies for clinical diagnosis and applications in pathology, oncology, and infection diseases.
