WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Ulrich Steinseifer, Ph.D., Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing., Dept. for Cardiovascular Engineering, Institute of Applied Medical Engineering AME, Helmholtz Institute, Aachen, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Steinseifer was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For outstanding contributions in research, development, industrial implementation of cardiovascular implants, particularly cardiac valves and cardiac assist devices.
