WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Paul Weiss, Ph.D., UC Presidential Chair and Distinguished Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry and of Materials Science & Engineering, Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Department of Materials Science & Engineering, Department of Bioengineering, and California NanoSystems Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Weiss was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For developing pioneering nanoscale tools and methods for control and measurement of biological, chemical, and physical interfaces with submolecular precision.
