Wentai Liu, Ph.D.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Wentai Liu, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor of Bioengineering, Department of Bioengineering, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, California NanoSystems Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Liu was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for contributions to electronically-aided neural prosthetic devices to regain eyesight and to restore motor functions.
