Silva, Ph.D., Professor of Bioengineering Secondary Appointment: Professor of Ophthalmology, Department of Bioengineering, University of California, San Diego, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Silva was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For outstanding contributions to understanding and reverse engineering of cellular neural network signaling in the brain and retina.
