WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Georgia D. Tourassi, Ph.D., Director, Health Data Sciences Institute Director, Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Center, Computational Sciences and Engineering Division, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Tourassi was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For substantial contributions to the use of novel neural networks in computer-aided diagnosis and the retrieval of similar images.
