WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Mary Larsen Bouxsein, Ph.D., Director, Center for Advanced Orthopedic Studies, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Associate Associate Professor, Harvard Medical School and Faculty, HST Program, Harvard-MIT, Orthopedic Surgery, Harvard Medical School, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Bouxsein was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For contributions to the understanding of fracture occurrence based on bone biomechanics and imaging.
