WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Christopher K. Zarins, M.D., Professor of Surgery, Emeritus, Stanford University; Co-Founder, Sr. VP for Medical Affairs, HeartFlow, Inc., Surgery, Stanford University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Zarins was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for outstanding contributions to the understanding of the role of biomechanical factors in atherosclerosis and aneurysms pathogenesis and treatment.
