WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the pending induction of Andre F. Palmer, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, The Ohio State University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Palmer was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows For pioneering advances in engineering novel hemoglobin-based oxygen carriers for use as red blood cell substitutes in transfusion medicine.
