W. Clem Karl, Ph.D.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of W. Clem Karl, Ph.D., Professor of Biomedical Engineering; Professor and Chair, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Boston University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Karl was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for novel contributions to sparsity-based methods for medical imaging, statistical image processing, and bio-image formation.
