WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Kalpana S. Katti, Ph.D., University Distinguished Professor; Graduate Program Coordinator, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering; Affiliate Faculty, Materials and Nanotechnology; Affiliate Faculty, Biomedical Engineering, North Dakota State University, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Katti was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for exceptional contributions to biomaterials science with development of engineered nanoclays for biomaterials and contributions towards promotion of women in science.
